The canelé
The canelé
The canelé originates from Bordeaux, France, and is renowned for its crispy, deep-caramelized shell that boasts a subtle blend of rum and vanilla. The contrast between its milky-yellow center and caramelized exterior is the canelé's most distinctive feature. To create this pastry, we source local beeswax from the Lockyer Valley and use new technology to maintain its maximum crunchiness while preserving its original texture. Please note that our canelé is served frozen to ensure optimal texture and flavor.
